More work done again

Hello again and welcome to my second official blog post. I had a lot of fun writing yesterday's post and telling about my day so I think I'm going to have another shot at it now.

I should start by mentioning that in yesterday's post I said that I "beat" Sonic Adventure. Well a good friend of mine proved me wrong and I just realized that I lacked proper knowledge of how things work. So long story short I only beat Sonic's part of the game when there are still many other characters left. I feel kind of stupid for thinking that the game would just end there. Either way now that that's out of the way you don't have to come screaming at me trying to prove me wrong and besides I'm working on beating the game with the other characters now although when I started with Tails today I got stuck in the game and I didn't know what to do and where to go so after around an hour I had to put the controller down for the sake of my sanity.

Other than that though today was an interesting day in a few ways. For one I tried to stay up the whole night last night which went horribly wrong and it always does when I try. I don't think I have succeeded staying up the whole night ever actually. Not even once. Well I made it to around 8 in the morning when I finally just gave up and went to bed just like that. It really does suck though because as a result I ended up waking up at around 14 in the noon which didn't feel great. For one I can't eat breakfast and I have to immediately eat lunch but also it just makes my days feel way shorter than they should and I have less time to do actual things during the day which sucks because I'm on summer break and I'm supposed to be prioritizing my time to the things I love right now and not later while I still can. The problem is... I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP STAYING UP SO LATE EVERY NIGHT. Even today I waited until around 2 am to start working on the website and now it's already 4.30... I mean it makes somewhat sense to write this blog right before I go to bed since I'm talking about my day after all. It'd make no sense in the morning and I can't just leave it to tomorrow since during sleep a lot gets forgotten in the human brain and it no longer feels current.

Sleep troubles aside I finally made some progress in anime today. I probably watched around 20 more episodes of this funny little show called Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat that I discovered around a month back. It's a really funny and entertaining show and I'm watching it on the Playstation 2 DVD player which makes it even swagger to me at least. I'm probably going to finish the show tomorrow since I only have 12 more episodes left and for my next anime I haven't decided yet but it's probably going to be FLCL since I've been meaning to watch that one for a while and it's not a very long one either. 

Another thing that happened today was I had to help my dad with something technology related. Last weekend we got a couple of older high-end Hitachi projectors as donations from a family friend who found them from the trash. Well long story short he didn't have the remote for the projectors and neither did we so we wanted some way to be able to control these projectors. Turns out by connecting the projectors to the internet they run a small internal web server with a Flash application that acts as the remote. My dad was complaining because he didn't have a computer or a browser with Flash support still available and any emulator wouldn't work so I took out my 2005 HP laptop running Windows XP and using Google Chrome 49 the Flash site would render flawlessly. Just the wonders of old technology and how it can sometimes be useful I guess. Well we later found out that it was all for nothing since the projector has buttons on it for navigating menus and changing settings as well as a serial port RS-232 for the same thing so in the end Flash was never needed in the first place.

On another note I'm officially on the lookout for a 486 or a Pentium system and I'm trying to acquire one in the next month or so. Hopefully I'll get lucky and get something like a 486DX2-66 which would be wonderful. For a Pentium a MMX 233 would be perfect and exactly what I'm looking for actually. I need more differemt hardware for experimenting and just having fun in general and also I'm in a pretty good spot if I do end up finding a computer of the aforementioned technologies since I already have most of the accessories like a monitor, hard drive, keyboard, mouse. All I really need is the computer itself and it'd make for a pretty neat little MS-DOS setup I think. All I need is luck and patience now.

Guess it's time to end my second blog post here. A lot is going on and luckily tomorrow is Friday which I'll definitely use for relaxing since I've been working pretty hard on this site and I just did my first update to the photo gallery. This is EXTREMELY time consuming. Especially dealing with the pictures and converting them right and all that crap but the end result looks a lot cleaner that way which I like. I'd like to work on the videos page and expanding the photo gallery over the weekend maybe. Either way thanks for reading these little rambles of mine once again and I'll be back with more tomorrow!
